On my drive home from QT and DD this morning (I realize I am not winning the WLC), I was overwhelmed with the desire to tell the world how much I love Ben. Poor guy, he gets the brunt of things around here, and by that, I mean, he is sometimes low on the totem pole of priorities. It usually it goes like this:
1. Derek
2. Anny
3. Everyone else
4. ASU
5. My callings at church
6. The house
7. Me taking a shower
8. Ben
Sometimes there are things in there that put him even lower, but it isn't intentional. I just wanted everyone to know all the great things about Ben. I don't have all day, so I'll just list some of the top things.
1. He showers everyday pretty much, that makes him my hero cause I can't seem to get there.
2. He works hard everyday, makes a great living to support our family, and after all these years, he still enjoys what he does (most of the time).
3. He likes sports as much as me.
He may like them more, as I can't see the appeal of watching them on t.v. yet.
4. He is a great dad. He coaches football, softball, basketball, and that takes up most of the year. He also goes to all track meets, music concerts, assemblies at the school (when he can get away during the day.)
5. He has a talent of being able to work from home and still get things done.
6. He cleans the master bathroom.
7. He takes me on a date every single week, even when there is a game on t.v. that
I think he would rather watch.
8. He fulfills his priesthood responsibilities
(6am meetings, HP Group leader, taking the boys out to do fast offerings, home teaching, etc.)
9. He only wanted 4 children originally, but he let me double that number and have 8.
10. He puts up with my quirky quirks
(I mentioned them in my last post) and has for almost 19 years now.
I love that man and am going to make a conscious decision to put him higher on my priority list from now on.

You gave me some food for thought. Very profound!!
At least you get the shower before you get to him. I am sure that is much appreciated.
That's funny Matt!!!!
Stacy is way to hard on her self... I am very much appreciated and loved.
