Back to School Again!!

First day jitters must have included Baby Anny, cause at 3:30, she was wide awake and excited!! I laid with her for an hour, but she just played with my head. I finally took her down and put her between Ben and myself, but still nothing. We said bye to Vance when he left at 4:45 to go to cross country practice before school, then when Marly came down for breakfast, she kept an eye on Anny while feeding her cheerios and a drink of milk.

Marly left just before 6am, so she could get to early morning seminary. She is attending a new high school in our district, and they do not have release time. 6am came pretty early for the others, but they got up and cleaned their rooms, ate breakfast, did their morning chores, read scriptures, had family prayers, and everyone but Drew got their picture taken for the first day of school. I guess I'll have to catch him when he gets home. Anny finally fell asleep in her high chair but did not want to be laid down in her bed.

Anny is exhausted from all the excitement and it isn't even 7am yet.

Tawny Grade 1

Tawny is so excited that Merrek will be in her class this year. When Merrek got to the playground, Tawny grabbed her hand and off they went, without even looking back.

Tawny, Katy, Afton, Maddie, and Miranda. Tawny is so excited that Miranda will be going to school with her every morning. She is in Kindergarten, so she won't see her much during the day, but they can walk to school together. Katy is so happy that she and Afton are finally in the same class together.
