More to catch up on: ANWA group

ANWA is a group of LDS women writers. I am priveleged to be a part of the Skyline Scribblers group that meets in east Mesa. I have been in and out of the group for about 4 years now. These are fabulous women who love to write. Everyone writes for a different reason, I go because I need encouragement and critique and socialization for some of the things I write about. I will be published in the next issue of Beehive newspaper that is distributed here locally. It will be my first published article. I mostly write about my family and personal histories, but you never know where this group will take me. Check out www.anwa-lds.org. I'll let you know when my article is published. Here is a picture of my group, from left to right: Valerie, Beulah, Brenda, Julie, Barbara, and Kathy. I love associating with these ladies.

Hey! I always forget that you like to write! I love writing, in fact, I'm in a "reflective writing" class right now and this summer I'll be doing another writing class. I've thought about putting together a book of things that I've written. I just like to write about myself too, haha. I fear I'm not very creative with fiction, etc. I'll have to show you some of my drafts I've written! yay! We should be in a writing group together too! haha

You should come with me, it is only once a month, you might like it. I definitely think you should keep all your writing in a binder or something so you can go back and look on it. I have a few things I wrote years and years ago and then when I looked back at it, I changed it all around and liked it even more.
