I'm a mom of the 2000's

How do I get it all done, you ask? Well, it struck me funny that the last way I communicated with my family was this morning as I sent them an e-mail regarding future dentist appointments. Everyone has e-mail but the two little girls. Here is what it looked like ( I deleted the dates):

To: I then listed all their e-mails

I have made the following dentist appointments for you and have put them on my calendar. I just wanted to let you know when yours was:

Vance - May , 9am
Marly - June , 9am
Mom - June , 11am
Drew - June , 11:30am
Dad - June , 7am
Skylar - June , 7:30am
Katy - June , 2pm
Tawny - June , 2:30pm

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. Please brush your teeth before you leave. Mom

It struck me funny that it was so business-like. But it works, nonetheless. I don't think I could be so organized without my yahoo calendar and e-mail:)

Hi Stacy! This is so funny. We are definitely modern women. How did our moms ever do it without computers!!! I'm definitely dependent on mine, especially now that my days are spent on the couch recovering. I've taken Trevor's laptop hostage!
Much Love, Lisa

Summer told me about a cartoon she saw titled "School Yard Bullying in 2010." It had a picture of one boy saying to another, "Your mom blogs about you.

LOL - That is hilarious. I never thought about emailing details like that to the kids. We had a problem last year with kids instant messaging on the computer during school (we home school) and I had to block that program from working. They were interrupting my typing too much with pop up IM's saying "HI MOM!" with a bunch of silly faces.

That's hilarious. I can't wait for my girls to get email addresses now. It was fun to see you on Sunday. I still can't believe you are having baby number 7? Why was I so oblivious to this fact? I'm excited for you!
