Stuck on a t.v. show - so out of character for me

Those of you who know me well, know I don't really watch t.v. I don't have anything against it, I just haven't found much that drives me to plan my schedule around a t.v. show. I do keep the t.v. on during the day just for company. It is either on the Food Network or TLC or Discovery Health. I rarely sit down to watch it, I just glance at it to see if anything is interesting or watch when the baby is delivered and then cry. I also think all those medical mystery shows are educational and I know a lot about weird medical things so as to increase my anxiety when my children are sick:)

Anyway, I can't help but be interested in this American Idol season. I just learned that Kelly Clarkson was the winner on the first season. I also just learned today that the results are on Thursday nights (I've been checking the internet to see who gets booted, not knowing when they would do that). I'm in love with the two mormons on the show, Brooke White, the mom and nanny originally from Mesa, Arizona, and David Archuleta, the 16 year old from Utah. They are both genuine, althouth I don't know that I would want to be a mormon pop star. But, having said that, you won't find me sitting in front of my t.v. on those nights, but I will be checking the internet to watch their performances, probably the next day or so. Anyway, I won't vote for anyone, but I'll cheer for these two.

I saw about 2 minutes of A.I. last night...and it was the 2 minutes that Brooke sang "You're So Vain". I thought it was very well-done and everyone seemed to like it. I just like listening to the music, I usually don't really care who wins.

I mispoke, Brooke is not a mom, I meant wife. She does want to be a mom someday though...

I stopped watching American Idol when they voted Daughtry off. The best singers do not always win.

This is the one show I love to watch, even though there is no way I can watch THREE nights in a row of it. I don't think the girl from Mesa has a chance to go all the way, but I definitely think the boy, David, does have a chance to go all the way. That is just one opinion though. : )
