One of those days

I woke up at 3:30 this morning and couldn't go back to sleep. I surfed the blog world and pregnancy world for just over an hour and finally climbed back into bed about 5 minutes before Ben's alarm went off. I slept fitfully until my alarm went off an hour later. I got the kids up, got them breakfast, and went back to my bed. They brought the scriptures into my bedroom and we read together (I think I slept through it) and then we said morning prayers. I crawled back in bed. I did manage to wake up and call the school to inform them Skylar was having a "personal" day I crawled back into bed. I didn't really wake up until 10:30am. I was still in my robe when the AC/Heater guy showed up but what could I do at that point? After he left, I fed lunch to Skylar, Tawny, and Dodge Chapman, and then finally got dressed. But you know what? I am still tired. No running today. I might clean my kitchen. I am listening to my music list and my new favorite song came on for days just like today. (Thanks Jen S.) If you can figure out how to play it, listen to it. It is me today. It's called Stay Home and it is from the movie Shrek 3.

I don't think I have left the couch all day. I think I am getting a sinus infection, and guess who started throwing up last night? Yep- both my girls. And all over Michelle's new van. I am having one of those days, too. In fact, I am going back to bed!

We have those days too. Just know that it's "OK". You have permission! Sometimes women judge themselves too harshly. I know that I do.

I hope you get enough rest and have more energy soon. I think the cloudy day is making everybody slow down.

Hope you are feeling better now. We all deserve a down day now and then.

I'm having one of those days today. The boys and I are sick. I didn't feel like giving my boys baths today...so I didn't. I've pretty much had cartoons on all morning for Canon. I'm sure Chad will be understanding when he gets home from work today and the kids are still in their PJs.:)

I'm sure he will understand, Nicole. BTW, should I be bathing my kids everyday and changing out of p.j's before Ben gets home?
