Letters for Emily
OK, thanks to Cindy and Kim, they got me interested in reading another book. I usually use books as rewards; clean the dishes, read a chapter, mop the floor, read a chapter, vacuum a room, read a chapter, etc. It only took me a total of about 5 hours to read and now my house is thrashed, but I read it. It was so awesome!! I just didn't want to put it down. (Of course, I had to take a break to watch Mitt on the news lastnight.) What a wonderful story about life and love and forgiveness and family and what is really important. Thank you so much for sharing your book with me, Cindy. If anyone wants it, let me know, I'm happy to pass it around.

I loved the book "Letters for Emily!" I have told several people to read it. I don't have it myself, I borrowed it. I think it is a really good picture of what can happen to families that don't get along and let things go for years.

I'm an avid reader but this is one I've never read...I'll have to give it a try. I loved your reward system - I'll have to do that too...either that or my children and house get neglected while I'm reading.
I'm so glad you liked it!
I want to read it!!!! Please bring it in.
It was awesome, huh? I need to find another book that I like as much that I can read as fast. That's the key...then there's only 5 hours of neglect vs. 5 days.
