Beware of Checking Account Fraud
I can't believe it happened to me, someone made a phony ATM card and went to an ATM in LA, California and emptied my checking account. I'm so glad I don't have much money:) It was almost a week before I was able to get it straightened out with the bank, but it is resolved. I never lost my card either, that's the scary thing. Someone found out my number, and must have watched me put in my pin # somewhere, that's all I can think of. And the weird thing is that I try to be so secretive about it. Anyway, I'm glad it is straightened out now.

That is scary! We had someone copy our cell phone and make calls around the country...all in one day...so our cells were shut off and we couldn't make any calls. The first time this happened, we just changed the numbers and the cell phone co. changed the programming. It happened again 2 months later. We changed carriers after that. They said people have equipment to "steal" your programming out of the air.
These are some bad stories! I'm so freaked out about that stuff. I'm happy everything got resolved!
ooh, that's scary! i'm glad you got it all figured out. i was wondering where you were last night & today and i'm glad that you're not sick...but marly did such a good job last night - you should be a proud mom.
Wow -- so scary! I hear about it, but I've never known it to actually happen to anyone. Thanks for putting out the warning!!
That just happened to my sister about 2 weeks ago. California too. Weird!
