Faith
As many of you know, our church building has been under construction for about one year. It has actually been complete for a few weeks now but because of an issue between the builder who was putting in the sewer system and the utility company, we still have not been able to use our building. So, every Sunday, (as we drive past about 5 churches and drive 1/2 hour to get to church) as we pass our new building, I say to nobody in particular "everyone say a prayer for our new building to be finished soon." Everyone gives a chuckle and we all talk about it (as we say a prayer in our hearts). Well, I've never looked at anyone when I've said it, except maybe the front passenger, until today. Drew, Katy, and I were on our way back from the store and as I passed the church, I said, "everyone say a prayer for our new building to be finished soon." Drew and I laughed and then I turned around to my sweet Katy (6 years old) and she has her arms folded, head bowed, and actually saying a prayer. Talk about the faith of a child - our building could be finished any day if we would all pray like that. Too cute.

What's sad is how many people don't go every week because they have to drive 30 minutes. Katy is so cute. Maybe her prayer will work! :)
