Today I have been married for 16 years!! How time flies. It just seems like yesterday, I asked him to the Christmas Formal dance when I was a senior and he was at MCC. That would have been December 1988. He was my best friend at work and he always took his 15 minute break when I did so we could get 1/2 price donuts from the bakery. We would sit in the snack bar and talk (longer than we should have, probably). When we got off work, we would stand in the parking lot and talk till much too late. When my mom would show up in the suburban to find out where I was, I knew I had been out there too long. He already has his mission call when we started dating, I don't know what we were thinking. Two years later, he came back and we were married. I didn't wait for him, you know, I dated a lot. Unfortunately, they were all pre-missionaries and I got really good at saying goodbye and writing letters. I never loved any of them as much as I loved Ben. They all knew about him too.
We were married in the St. George temple on a very hot and sunny day. I remember it was hot because when we went back inside after taking pictures, my garments needed wrung out because I was so sweaty. I didn't mind the heat while we were taking pictures, I dont' think I noticed. I was just so glad I had all our family with us. It was a great day.
I couldn't imagine being more in love than I was that day but it happens. We have had our share of challenges to overcome but I wouldn't change a thing. All those challenges have made us who we are today. We are united, independent, and happy. I couldn't have married a more perfect man for me. And have you seen my kids? What a beautiful posterity I have! I am the most blessed woman on earth.

That is so sweet... :-)
Ahhhh I missed it!...I could have gone out with you guys as the third wheel! ha
Thats awesome...I loved the part that you said about thinking you couldn't ever feel more love as you did that day...but without knowing you actually would in the future. Okay...not verbettam, and yes your kids are darling! I just wish for my sake I could get away with "arranged marriages" when my kids are grown. We would snag a few from you! But I dont have many cows for London to give :(
I might just be willing to accept things like canned peaches, canned chicken, canned beans, etc...
