I am thankful for Ben's good job so that I an be a stay at home mom. I am especially thankful that he is able to work from home so much lately because I need all the help I can get during the day trying to take care of the house and Anny while the others are at school. Ben has always been blessed with work, although it hasn't always been pleasant. Sometimes he has had to travel a lot, but we made that work by going to California and staying in his apartment with him for a long weekend instead of him coming home. He hasn't always made a lot of money, like when we were in the military, but he always made sure I got a date, even if there was only enough money to pay the sitter. We would share a 44oz. drink and sit and watch the airplanes take off and land at the end of the runway on the base and just talk. Even though with his current job, he has had to take a paycut because of the recent economy, we are still able to make ends meet and provide our kids with the essentials and most of their wants. Somehow we will make it through and I keep reminding myself that we don't even have it as hard as many of our friends right now.
