I am grateful for my garden

We had such beautiful weather this weekend and the girls spent some time outside "cleaning." Our backyard is full of a pool, a small garden, and a lot of dirt. They scooped up the pile of burnt weeds from a few weeks back in order to improve the look of the backyard. They picked the rest of the green beans and what cherry tomatoes actually grew. We didn't see any of it, they ate it all. I have some corn still left that needs to be picked, I think that will happen soon. I am grateful for such a long growing season. I wish I had pictures of my little garden and I can't wait to pick the peas that are now growing. If I had a little more energy, I would be out there taking care of it better, and with all the help Ben and the kids are giving in the house, I doubt anyone will be out there until we plant our early spring garden. I love fresh vegetables and fruit.
