Wellness Program

Today is day one of my new wellness program. I can't really go on a diet (nor do I want to), but I do want to do something that makes me feel like I am doing something good for my body (and spirit). Anyway, a friend of mine turned me on to a group that was starting a 12 week program and I decided to try. Here is a list of what I have to achieve each day:
48oz water
45 minutes exercise
2 veggies/2 fruit
no sugar/no sweets
No fast food/no soda
No eating after 8pm
15 minutes scripture study
Write in journal
Express appreciation to spouse
Fulfill personal goal
You get one point for each item, each day. That is a total of 10 points available each day. At the end of 12 weeks, whoever has the most points wins. My competetive side tells me I'm going to win, hands down, even pregnant. My only concern is my love for the diet pepsi and Dunkin Donuts. But, I'm feeling good after day one - 10 points!!

Dude,I totally broke every one of those rules today alone! Except for the scripture study. I did do that today. And does blogging and facebook updates count as journal writing? If it does than I am the best journal writer ever! Good luck!

Ooooooh I like the idea. I am going to pass this on for sure. I don't have the diet soda will power either. I am a junkie for sure. How fun!

My 12 week challenge starts next monday so I'm pretty much pigging out on sweets this week and not showing Brandon any appreciation or compliments so I can save it all for the next 12 weeks (j/k, but not on the sweets part)

OK, so this may be in appropriate (you can delete) but can you do two for one? Like use the 45 minutes of exercise to show appreciation to your husband? If you know what I mean? :)
Good luck with that; I'm sure you'll do great.

I totally thought you had made up the whole concept for your RS lesson. It actually sounds awesome! Thanks for sharing.

I have had this program in my head since you posted it. I've been trying to follow it, but need to work on the no sugar part!
