So, I am the worst mom ever. I know I posted when it was Katy's birthday, but I have yet to blog about her baptism. The most important day of her life so far and I am a slacker. We were so lucky to have Grandma and Grandpa Johnson and Colton join us from Utah. Thanks for making the trip guys! Katy had a basketball game that morning then we came home and got ready to go. Along with the Roberts and Miley family, we filled the whole chapel. It was awesome for the kids to have so many family and friends join them for their special day.
Katy has been looking forward to the day when she gets baptized for a long time. We told her a long time ago that Vance would be old enough to baptize her and if she wanted him to, she could ask him. She actually did and it was so wonderful to see my son, worthy to baptize his little sister. We won't mention the fact that when they got down into the font, there were too many people telling him what to do that they just confused him. In the end, he got the job done and there was a sweet spirit there. I'm so proud of Katy and her decision to be baptized and so grateful to have a son worthy to take care of that ordinance. Ben confirmed her afterwards so they all three had a special day.

We dashed off to see if the boys could catch the second game of a double header they had that day, but they only got in on the last few minutes of the game. So, we went out to lunch instead. Yummy Mexican food at a restaurant is how I like to have a family dinner. Thanks to all who joined us, it was a wonderful day.

That is so sweet that she asked her brother to baptize her. Sounds like an awesome day!
Your family looks great. That is very neat that Vance was able to do the baptism. Andrew would like to be able to baptize Jessica, but he will be on his mission when she turns eight. Makes me feel old just thinking about it!
Sorry I couldn't be there...I was busy being miserable in the hospital! j/k
We loved being there and thought it was great that Vance baptized her. Very cool memory they will both have...
Congrats to Katy! How special. Your little girl Anny is adorable!
