Grandma Great's Funeral and a broken washing machine

We made a quick trip to Utah last weekend for the funeral of Ben's Grandma. If you want to read about her, check Ben's blog. We loved her, the kids loved her, everyone loved her. She was my kind of woman. She was rarely "idle" which is a lot like me.

This is how we had to sometimes entertain Anny on the 13 hour drive home. FYI - She loves the Twilight soundtrack a lot!
And, last but not least, thanks to my favorite handyman Donny. My washer was leaking and while Ben thought he knew what it was, Donny (having previous experience with a similar problem) came over and diagnosed the leak. It was a tag team effort because I then took the part and purchased a new one and then Ben replaced it. Good job, Team!! Although, what I really wanted was a new front loading stackable set - OK, I really want two sets, I am grateful for a washer and dryer that work, even if it takes two hours to dry a load.
