At my writer's group today, I also learned how to give a hug correctly. I don't really like to hug, but I learned some interesting things about hugs. Ask me and I'll show you. An interesting thing she told us about hugs, it takes 4 hugs a day just to survive, 8 hugs a day for maintenance, and 12 hugs a day for growth. Watch out. I figure if I hug each of my kids, that is 7, Ben makes 8, so I'll need to hug 4 extra people everyday so I can grow. This could become an epidemic if each of us tries this little experiment. I want to mention that they need to be done correctly for the right effect. Don't be scared, it won't hurt.
I was just thinking that this would be fun to see if everyone could learn how to hug by spreading the word about hugging by actually hugging. I'll hug you and then you can pass it on, I wonder how many will learn how to hug by Sunday. Anyone want to try? Come find me if you do, or be prepared, I will come find you. I'm on a hugging rampage. I'm going to make Jana my first victim.

I love hugs but with my being very socially awkward, I normally just hug immediate family. Did your tutorial cover that?
Isnt it funny how EVERY GIRL hugs in the young adult or HS age? Remember that? I was a total hugger, now I am not so much. It is a little awkward....but I will hug you tomorrow at pack night!!! HA
Yes, I think if you go for it, you can hug people not in your immediate family. They need to be people you want to hug though, or it won't work.
Sometimes all it takes is just one hug!!!!
I love hugs you are more than welcome to use one of your four on me.
How 'bout a high-5?
