Running Makes Me Feel Better

I made it through the day with no "magic pills" to see me through. Of course, I took two naps and stayed in my p.j.'s until almost 3pm. Ben got home early tonight so we figured we had some time for a run. I could have ran for hours tonight, it felt so good, but it got dark and we had to get home to feed the kids before Pack Meeting. The pain in my leg is all gone and I figured out the cause - my shoes! I bought them a size too small so I think I run funny to keep my toes from banging the end. Anyway, I bought new running shoes on "black Friday" and when I got home and put them on to go run, I realized I had two left feet, literally. Tomorrow, I am finally going to make it back to the store to exchange them. They are white with hot pink on them, they match my shirt, cool!! Anyway, while I am running, I almost forget I'm pregnant - not that I want to forget, but my thoughts of barfing are far from me for even just a little while.

I am so glad for you!....At first I read "I ran for hours" I was thinking W-O-W!!! BUt re-read. Isnt that a great feeling that you think you can on certain nights! That keeps be going though the crapy runs. I am STILL getting used to the fact you even ARE pregnant! What shoes did you find? How luck they are Pink!!! We are the pinky testiderro's (however you spell it!)

I'm so jealous that you can run while you're pregnant since you were running before- all this talk of running (and everyone getting so darn skinny from it) makes me want to start but now I have to wait until May. So I guess walking will have to do for now! I would seriously love to have Tawny over for a day sometime so you can rest- I'll call you!

You're so good to keep running! I'm happy you're feeling better, those first couple months are so hard when you're sick. I don't know how you do it all!:) Hope you keep feeling this good!

Glad you figured out your shoe problem. It's always good to buy your running shoes one size to big because your feet swell when you run. Especially when you are going long distances. We need to go running together! We've never done that before!

Ya, you're my idol. I was running before I got pregnant then I felt like crapola and now I'm nervous to get back into it. It's good to run and keep it up. Glad to hear you went without Zofies!!

I wish running made me feel better! I would run off all the weight I gained this year. I hope you continue to feel better. Pregnancy puking is the worst because it can last for weeks/months.

I'm so glad your feeling better, I wish running was in the picture for me! I'm to scared to get back in before the baby. Keep running and your delivery will be a breeze!

We're opposites...Running makes you not think about barfing, but for me, the thought of running makes me want to barf.
