When I am stressed out about something, anything, it usually manifests itself in the form of not being able to sleep, tossing and turning, or nightmares. I have had some freaky ones this past week, I don't know why, I don't know what I'm stressed about, but apparently I am, and I do have a lot of things on my mind and a lot of things going on.
Nightmare #1 - A sister in the ward (she didn't have a face) was outside sunbathing with her little newborn baby and they both fell asleep. When she woke up, the baby was fried like a lobster and had a raging temperature. Instead of taking the baby to the ER, she calls me and brings the baby over. We cool the baby with wet washcloths, and I attempt to nurse her (there is no milk, I swear and why didn't the mom do that?) and the baby recovers. My translation is that I worry about the sisters in the ward and I want to do whatever I can to help them, I also know that in the end, everything usually works itself out and I really didn't do anything but support. (I've had similar dreams all week)
Nightmare #2 - It's very vague, but on Saturday, at football, everything goes wrong. While the kids are running through the tunnel to be announced, it collapses and kids are lost and injured. I burn the green chile burrito mix and I don't have flour tortillas, I have corn tortillas to roll them in (yucky). Nobody shows up to work their concession duties and I am stuck in there the whole day. It goes on, but I can't remember specifics now. My translation - I wonder if I am stressed about the next two Saturdays with football?
Anyone else have weird dreams that they think mean something?

Yikes! Those are some pretty weird dreams. I haven't had any weird ones lately, but yesterday Camille woke up from her nap screaming saying her diaper fell in the river and got all wet- to a 2 year old that must have been a tragic dream!
Maybe your sunbathing dream has something to do with the fact that it's 95 degrees outside in November. Where else could you sunbathe right now?
I'm not going there with my dreams, but i do have them. I think your first dream you need to have another baby....hahaha.
hmmm...I think Nicole might be right about the sunshine we're getting - but it's going to be beautiful at football tomorrow, isn't it? (the answer is YES, please?!?!) I feel bad for Camille about her diaper dream. DeAnna's words? I have no comment.
I can't stop laughing about the second dream for some reason, I can just imagine the look of terror on your face. I had a dream the other night that a lion was chasing me through this insanely tall house and I was flying through the rooms like a monkey. The lion was roaring so incredibly loud and my body was so tense that when I woke up... I was paralyzed!!! For real! I couldn't move my body even if I wanted! Then I fell back asleep.
Also, 2nd dream = you need a vacation.
I always have those odd dreams where I'm being chased and I can only run in slow motion. I think your interpretation of the first dream is probably right or maybe you just want a tan?
ARe you saying my skin is too white? I don't know what to think now. And, one more Saturday till football is over and I'm a free woman!!!!!
